If you are sending money from within the United States, you can send a direct deposit or wire transfer.
Direct deposit (also called ACH) is usually free but can take longer to be credited.
Wire transfers typically process within a day but may cost more. Check with your bank to get the exact processing times and costs.
To add funds from the Sable app
1) Please log in to your Sable app and click on the "add money" button followed by the "add funds from U.S account" in the overview screen. You can also find the "add funds from U.S. banks" in the move money tab
2) Please also enter the amount you wish to move from your external bank account to Sable and confirm. Please note these transfers take 5 business days to complete.
3) You will be prompted to choose the account from which you wish to fund your Sable account if you already have an account linked with Sable.
If you do not already have a linked account, it will prompt you to link your external financial institution's bank account first. This can also be done in the "linked accounts" button on the move money tab. Please click here to learn more about how to link an external account.
4) Click "transfer" and wait for the transfer to initiate. Once complete, you will get a confirmation that the transfer is in progress and will take 4 to 5 business days to complete. Please note, this will only show up in your transactions after the transfer has been completed and credited to your account.
To add funds via a direct deposit/ACH or wire transfer from outside of the Sable app, go to your bank or online banking and provide the following information:
ACH Information:
You can choose to link your personal bank account for ACH/Direct Deposit transfers if the service is available at your other financial institution, but this is only possible if you are sending money from your personal non-Sable US Bank Account. Your bank account may be referred to as a checking account for setting up transfers or direct deposits. You may be asked to verify your account through micro-deposits after which you will be able to easily send or request money to/from your Sable account by accessing your linked bank’s website or app.
- Beneficiary Name: Your Name
- Beneficiary Address: Your Address (Mandatory for Wire Transfers)
- ACH/ABA Routing number: e.g. 125109019
- Account number: e.g. 8814442233
(check your own account and routing number in the Sable App by clicking on "See Details" in the Overview Screen)
Wire Transfer Information:
For wire transfers, you do not need to link your bank account first and can directly provide the information below. Please note wire transfers normally take between 0 to 1 business day to complete.
You need the following details to make the wire transfer:
- Beneficiary Name: Your Name
- Beneficiary Address: Your Address (Mandatory for Wire Transfers)
- ACH/ABA Routing number: e.g. 125109019
- Account number: e.g. 8814442233
- Bank name: Coastal Community Bank
- Bank address: 5415 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA 98203
Your bank might also ask for the recipient's address - this is your US address. It is important to provide the same address that we have on file for your Sable account
